Kendall and Michael Nasser have gone to great lengths to get to Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Dallas.
When they were planning their wedding, Michael flew Kendall from their home city of Houston to Dallas for her first visit to the restaurant.
She enjoyed it so much that for the next six years, they made the pilgrimage to Lawry’s (persevering through flight delays, and on one occasion, pushing their broken-down limo) for each of their wedding anniversaries, to celebrate the births of their three children, to entertain clients, and for special times in between.
Lawry’s is our favorite in the world
Four years ago, the Nasser family moved to Dallas. Michael jokes they did it to save money on the airfare to our restaurant. Kendall tells us she’s glad to be in closer proximity to our Yorkshire pudding. “I can’t get enough of it,” she says. “When I was pregnant, I would eat the whole pan, and want to order it for dessert, too. Of the gazillions of fine restaurants we can choose from in Dallas, Lawry’s is our favorite in the world.” The feeling is definitely mutual.
We were delighted to see the Nassers again a few weeks ago when they visited us to celebrate their 10th anniversary and Kendall’s 40th birthday.
