2013 IS SPECIAL FOR US at Lawry’s Restaurants. All year we’re celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the opening of Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Beverly Hills and, by extension, the beginning of a brand that has become a favorite of diners from L.A. to the Midwest and in Asia too.
It’s hard to believe that my grandfather’s idea for a one entrée restaurant — truly daring at the time and considered “crazy” by many — was not only able to take root at the depths of the Depression, but also to flourish through generations of effort guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Without you there would be no Lawry’s The Prime Rib.
If you detect a little pride in my words, you’re right. I’m proud to be part of an organization that is made up of hundreds of dedicated co-workers who have a passion to serve and hold themselves to the highest standards. I’m proud to be part of two families who have successfully partnered to bring employment to hundreds and joy to thousands over the years.
I feel humble, too. We at Lawry’s always remember that you, our guests, are what our restaurants are really about. You expect great food and an experience you’ve come to know as timeless and unforgettable. And I honestly feel we owe that to you. Without you there would be no Lawry’s The Prime Rib.
The finest in food and service in settings that are as unique as we are.
I’m optimistic about the future. We will continue to do what we do best: bring you the finest in food and service in settings that are as unique as we are. I believe this will ensure that we’ll be there for you for at least another 75 years!
If you’re reading this A La Cart, you’re one of our loyal guests whose patronage is the foundation of our success and the reason we’re still here. I speak for all of us at Lawry’s Restaurants when I thank you for that patronage. We look forward to sharing the Lawry’s experience with you for a long time to come.
