ABCs of Lawrys: Anniversaries, BCS Bowl Games, and Coloring Contests

Sally and Steve Kuo were married in our Beverly Hills restaurant in 2003.

When they joined us on their third wedding anniversary, they brought along a very special guest-Ashley, their 18-month-old daughter. Ashley, whom Sally intro­duced as “A future Lawry’s bride,” had a great time at her first dinner with us.

We’re always delighted to see Joe and Denise Galletta, who have been frequent guests of our Dallas restaurant since 1988.

Through the years of happy milestones they’ve cele­brated with us (most recently, their 34th wedding anniver­sary), the Galletta’s lives have touched ours through stories about their children, Danny, 24, and Lisa, 21, the arrival of their first grandchild (a boy, born last month), and their volunteering for Equest, an organization that uses horseback riding as therapy for children with special needs.

The festivities for Lawry’s Beef Bowl (hosted by our Dallas restaurant for the Cotton Bowl competitors prior to the big game included Beef Bowl Too, a coloring contest for area schoolchildren.

Eighteen winners were awarded Beef Bowl medallions and, along with their families and teachers, were treated to lunch at Lawry’s in Dallas.

The romantic English garden at the Five Crowns was the setting for fohn and Enid McEvllly’s recent wedding and reception.

The newlyweds were so happy with the assistance provided by Five Crowns’ sales and market­ing manager Margo Brask, they included her in their wedding photos!
