Lawry’s restaurants received high marks from American Way, a Distinguished Restaurants of North America, and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
American Way, the in-flight magazine of American Airlines, gave our Beverly Hills restaurant a rave review, saying:
The sputtering, sizzling sound of a prime rib of beef hot from the oven is a tantalizing virtue of this great, curiously overlooked dish. Once a staple of American restaurants, only a few still serve it the right way: sliced with the bone, its crispy, golden fat still at the edge, and a rosy center. This is the way it’s done at Lawry’s The Prime Rib.
The Five Crowns restaurant and Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Chicago, are among the handful of restaurants to receive this year’s DiRoNA (Distinguished Restaurants of North America) Award. Lawry’s in Chicago also won the 2003 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Las Vegas, sales and marketing manager Nancy Marcellus was honored with the Chamber of Commerce’s Circle of Excellence Award and sales associate Ali Legarreta received the chamber’s award for Customer Service Excellence.
