Last year, we celebrated the 80th anniversary of our flagship Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. Eight decades of success is an almost unheard of achievement in our business; it’s something we’re all very proud of. To stay successful, we’ve occupied three different buildings back and forth across the same block of La Cienega Blvd., we’ve periodically remodeled existing structures and we’ve changed our interior design motif from Art Deco to mid-century modern to English Gentlemen’s Club style. In the past, we’ve also gradually expanded our menu and even modified our traditional server uniforms while adding men to the waitstaff.

But the entire time, we’ve remembered that only we can offer our guests the classic Lawry’s dining experience. Prime rib carved tableside, served from our iconic silver carts with warm, welcoming hospitality in a beautiful setting is and always will be at the heart of what Lawry’s is all about.

In the last few years, Los Angeles has begun commanding worldwide attention as a culinary capital. Diners’ tastes have broadened, making the restaurant field more competitive than ever. Recognizing this, we started asking ourselves, “How do we continue to offer our long-time loyal guests the Lawry’s experience they’ve come to expect and love while making sure we can establish the same kind of connection with future generations?”

We’ve brought a new atmosphere of relaxed elegance, an enhanced menu and stylish new server uniforms to Lawry’s.

Over many months, an incredible amount of time, thought, energy and care on the part of family members, co-workers and trusted consultants has gone into considering that question. We’ve surveyed guests and co-workers and taken a clear-eyed look at all aspects of our operations. What you’ll find today at Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Beverly Hills is our answer. It’s one that stays faithful to our history and maintains the essence of the Lawry’s experience.

For the first time in twenty-five years, we’ve brought a new interior design to our restaurant. With it comes an atmosphere of relaxed elegance that reflects the glamour, sophistication and romance of Beverly Hills. We’ve enhanced the menu to include several classic American entrées in addition to our signature prime rib. More choices than ever before will offer our guests the opportunity both to dine with us more often and to share the Lawry’s experience with more of their friends. And, we’ve redesigned our servers’ “brown gown” uniform. The stylish, refreshed version elevates the 1940s look while being more functional and comfortable for our co-workers.
